The theatre company In Character will return this year to stage a production about one of Wales’ most prominent poets and peace campaigners Waldo Williams.
With the National Eisteddfod visiting Pembrokeshire in 2026, it is appropriate for us to honour one of its most famous sons of the area. In this Welsh language presentation, we will look at the close connection between his life experiences, his philosophicall ideals and poems, and consider the relevance of his words in today’s world.
Written by Mererid Hopwood and directed by Janet Aethwy, the production will tour across Wales following the actor Ryland Teifi who portrays Waldo Williams.
The production will be in Twm o’r Nant Theatre in Denbigh on Wednesday, 25th February starting at 7:30pm.
