On Monday, 1 December, the Menter visited Ysgol Caer Drewyn to run Lego workshops as part of the Treasure Box project.

The older pupils at the school had the opportunity to learn about the heritage and their local history by reconstructing an important historic site, Glyndyfrdwy, the home of Owain Glyndŵr.

By working in teams and using their imagination and creativity, the pupils succeeded in transforming Glyndyfrdwy Motte-and-Bailey Castles into small Lego models.

The pupils enjoyed collaborating in groups to build and simulate what they had learned during the session. The designs from each group were worth seeing, and each one was unique!

This was a fun session, and the pupils had the chance to use their Welsh in a relaxed atmosphere.

Thank you for the welcome!
