It has been a very busy summer with our walking tours and Welsh guided tours in Denbighshire.

Welsh learners and fluent speakers had the opportunity to enjoy the outdoors, discover our local history and nature, and socialise in a friendly atmosphere. The walks were a great way to practice Welsh language skills and meet new people.

The walkers outside Abaty Glyn y Groes

During the summer, a group of learners went on a guided walk led by Anne Ellis along the Llangollen History Trail on a glorious summer’s day. The trail had special views of the area. Walkers were given an opportunity to wander around the abbey at Glyn y Groes and marvel at the grandeur of the historical building. We then continued along the journey walking along the beautiful Llangollen canal back towards the town.
