Menter Iaith Sir Ddinbych, together with other partners, recently collaborated with Actif North Wales in order to host a Wales Euro Festival 2025 for children.

One event was held for youngsters at Denbigh whilst another was held at Prestatyn to celebrate the success of the Welsh Women’s football team as they competed in the Euros for the first time ever.
Menter Iaith Sir Ddinbych in collaboration with RhAG (Parents for Welsh Medium Education) and local artist, Tara Dean worked jointly on a stand at both events. There were a number of activities for attendees, including writing Welsh messages to wish the Welsh Women’s team well, rolling or kicking a ball into holes, meeting Magi Ann, activities to colour Mentrau Iaith’s Ewro leaflets, creating Welsh badges and creating a flag of one of the Euro countries.
Everyone had a wonderful time and it was great to chat with many children and parents during the activities. The crowd was proud of the success Welsh women had in reaching the Euros tournament.
