As a registered charity, the staff are very grateful for the support of their Board members and volunteers who work with them tomanage and carry out activities within the county.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One of those is Elin Batty, 31, from Llansannan near Dinbych. Elin started volunteering with Menter Iaith two years ago and since then, she has become a regular volunteer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.misirddinbych.cymru\/cms\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/Elin-terfynol-high-res-768x1024.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"768\" height=\"1024\" src=\"https:\/\/www.misirddinbych.cymru\/cms\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/Elin-terfynol-high-res-768x1024.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-7281\" style=\"aspect-ratio:0.7501851535350083;width:290px;height:auto\"\/><\/a><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Elin Batty from Llansannan, one of Menter Iaith&#8217;s important volunteers<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;I really enjoy working with the Menter staff,&#8221; explains Elin who likes the variety of the work and enjoys learning new skills<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;It&#8217;s an eye-opener to see all the work that goes on behind the scenes. I&#8217;m very proud to be able to help the team, to visit different areas to support with events and I love helping out at the Magi Ann children\u2019s sessions.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Elin is used to volunteering as she is also a familiar face at the community refill shop and fair trade products, \u2018T\u0177 Gwyrdd\u2019 in Denbigh. She is also busy helping her family business that produces chutney and jam using seasonal produce at Llansannan, &#8216;Mewn Picil.&#8217;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;As we show gratitude to our volunteers during \u2018Volunteers Week 2026,\u2019 we pay homage to our supporters for their continued dedication to us, the language and our culture,&#8221; said Ruth Williams from Menter Iaith Sir Ddinbych.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;We have a small team of fantastic staff and having our great volunteers working with us gives us the opportunity to offer further provision to our communities and more opportunities to use the language.
