{"id":2524,"date":"2015-07-06T17:54:28","date_gmt":"2015-07-06T17:54:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.misirddinbych.cymru\/fund-raising-meirion-davies-cycles-to-the-top\/"},"modified":"2015-07-06T17:54:28","modified_gmt":"2015-07-06T17:54:28","slug":"fund-raising-meirion-davies-cycles-to-the-top","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.misirddinbych.cymru\/en\/fund-raising-meirion-davies-cycles-to-the-top\/","title":{"rendered":"Fund-raising: Meirion Davies cycles to the top!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On the 20th of June 2015, Meirion Davies, our National Chair and Menter Iaith Conwy&#8217;s Director of Development took part in the Quebrantahuesos Sportive (&#8220;Bone Breaker&#8221;!) in the mountains of the Pyrenees.<\/p>\n<p>The race is considered one of the most difficult in Europe, climbing over 3500 meters &#8220;the hight of 3 Snowdons&#8221; in Meirion&#8217;s words himself. Meirion succeeded in completing the race within 7 hours and 26 minutes.<\/p>\n<p>Meirion said:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cI&#8217;m riding to raise money for the Motor Neurone Disease Association in memory of my late mother in law, Gwyneth Mair Williams.
